Pumpkin Spice Cold Foam (Better Than Starbucks!)

October 10, 2025 by cozykeeper 1 Comment

Make your own Pumpkin Spice Cold Foam at home with this easy recipe! Use my homemade Pumpkin Spice Coffee Syrup or a quick maple syrup version for a creamy, cozy fall coffee topping — no Starbucks trip needed.

As soon as the air turns crisp and the mornings call for a sweater, I start craving all things pumpkin spice — especially in my iced coffee. This Pumpkin Spice Cold Foam has become one of my favorite ways to bring a little cozy café magic right into my kitchen. It’s creamy, lightly sweet, and tastes like autumn in a cup.

What makes this recipe extra special is that it uses my homemade Pumpkin Spice Coffee Syrup, which blends perfectly into the foam for that warm, spiced flavor we all love. But if you haven’t made the syrup yet, don’t worry — you can still enjoy this treat with a drizzle of maple syrup and a pinch of pumpkin pie spice.

You’ll Need:

  • ¼ cup cold milk or cream (whole milk, half & half, or heavy cream — whatever you like best)
  • 1–2 tablespoons Pumpkin Spice Coffee Syrup (or substitute maple syrup + ¼ teaspoon pumpkin spice blend)
  • Ice and your favorite cold brew or iced coffee

How to Make It:

  1. Combine the milk (or cream) and syrup in a small bowl or cup.
  2. Froth until thick, creamy, and lightly airy. You can use:
    • A milk frother
    • A stand mixer or hand mixer
    • Or my personal favorite — an immersion blender with the whisk attachment!
  3. Spoon the cold foam gently over your iced coffee or cold brew.
  4. Sprinkle with a little cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice if you’d like an extra cozy touch.

Cozy Keeper Tips:

  • Keep a jar of the Pumpkin Spice Coffee Syrup in your fridge — it might start to separate but should last a few days.
  • If you prefer a lighter foam, use 2% milk. For something decadent, try heavy whipping cream.
  • This cold foam is also lovely over an iced chai latte or even cold cocoa.

There’s something so comforting about slowing down to make your own coffee creations at home. It’s a small act of care that turns an ordinary morning into something cozy and intentional — the kind of moment that makes fall feel just a little more magical.

Pin for later!

I appreciate the homemade approach to pumpkin spice cold foam here; it seems like a great way to customize flavors and save money compared to Starbucks. Would love to try this recipe myself!
