Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte – Better Than Starbucks!

March 11, 2025 by cozykeeper 2 Comments

Love matcha lattes but want to skip the coffee shop prices? This homemade Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte is a delicious, refreshing twist on the popular Starbucks drink—but even better because you can customize the sweetness, milk, and quality of ingredients!

Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte with defined layers of red, white, and green.

For over a year now I have tried to become a macha drinker, but I just couldn’t get past the flavor. But a few weeks ago while perusing Pinterest with my niece I came across a photo that was a pink colored milk in the bottom of a glass with a macha colored beverage being poured on top. There was no info under it but I assumed it was some type of Iced Strawberry Macha Latte and I could not stop thinking about it. I even went as far as to create a thinner Strawberry Jam that I could use for this particular drink.

Finally everything came together and I made the drink I had been thinking about for weeks and I fell in love. It is better than any other macha drink I’ve had so far and I’m so excited for you to try it!

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

Naturally sweetened – No artificial syrups, just real fruit flavor!
Antioxidant-packed – Matcha is full of powerful benefits.
Aesthetic & delicious – Swirls of strawberry jam make this latte stunning.

5️⃣ Top with matcha – Slowly pour the whisked matcha over the milk.

6️⃣ Stir & enjoy – Swirl with a straw to blend the flavors or leave it layered for a stunning presentation.

Tips & Variations

Make it creamier – Whisk a spoonful of strawberry jam and some heavy whipping cream or coconut cream to create your own Strawberry cold foam.
Adjust the sweetness – Add honey, maple syrup, or vanilla if you like it sweeter.
Try it iced or hot – While this recipe is for an iced latte, you can serve it warm by skipping the ice and heating the milk.

Final Thoughts

This Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte is the perfect springtime pick-me-up, blending the cozy sweetness of homemade jam with the rich, earthy notes of matcha. Try it out, and don’t forget to check out my Homemade Strawberry Jam recipe for the perfect pairing!
