Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte – Better Than Starbucks!

Love matcha lattes but want to skip the coffee shop prices? This homemade Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte is a delicious, refreshing twist on the popular Starbucks drink—but even better because you can customize the sweetness, milk, and quality of ingredients!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 TBSP ceremonial-grade matcha powder
  • 8 oz hot water just below boiling
  • 2 TBSP Homemade Strawberry Jam get my recipe here
  • Ice
  • 4 oz milk of your choice oat, almond, whole milk, etc.

  • Milk Frother

Method
 

  1. Prepare the matcha – In a cup, whisk 1 TBSP matcha powder with 8 oz hot water until frothy.
  2. Layer the strawberry jam – Glaze 2 TBSP of homemade strawberry jam (or a strawberry sauce) along the inside of a tall glass.
  3. Fill with ice – Add ice to the glass until nearly full.
  4. Add the milk – Pour in 4 oz of your favorite milk over the ice.
  5. Top with matcha – Slowly pour the whisked matcha over the milk.
  6. Stir & enjoy – Swirl with a straw to blend the flavors or leave it layered for a stunning presentation.
