5 Cozy Switch Games to Play This Spring

April 3, 2025 by cozykeeper Leave a Comment

Looking for the perfect cozy Nintendo Switch games to play this spring? From café management to charming adventures, these 5 wholesome games are perfect for slow mornings and rainy days!

Spring is here, and with it comes the perfect excuse to curl up with an iced strawberry matcha, crack open a window to let in the fresh breeze, and dive into some charming, cozy games on the Nintendo Switch. There’s something about the change of seasons that makes me want to refresh my game library—leaning into bright, whimsical worlds that bring the spirit of spring to life.

This year, I’ve handpicked five games that I can’t wait to play on my Switch. Whether it’s baking sweet treats, tending to a village, or embarking on tiny adventures, these games all have that perfect blend of coziness and springtime vibes. If you’re looking for lighthearted, low-stress gaming experiences, these are the games to check out this season!

1. Lemon Cake – A Wholesome Bakery Adventure

Nothing says spring quite like fresh pastries, blooming flowers, and the cozy hum of a small café. Lemon Cake lets you live out the dream of running your own bakery, turning a rundown shop into a thriving, cozy café.

I love games that let me create something from scratch, and in Lemon Cake, you’ll be planting ingredients in your greenhouse, baking delicious pastries, and serving customers—all while restoring the charm of your little bakery. The pastel aesthetic and the warm, inviting atmosphere make this game feel like the ultimate spring experience.

If you love games like Stardew Valley but want something a little more focused, this might be the perfect pick. I can already picture myself playing this on a slow Saturday morning with a cup of tea in hand!

2. Smushi Come Home – A Tiny Mushroom’s Big Adventure

Spring is all about new beginnings, and Smushi Come Home is a game that embodies that feeling beautifully. You play as a tiny mushroom (yes, an actual mushroom!) who has been separated from home and must navigate a lush forest to reunite with their family.

This game caught my eye because of its soft, dreamy visuals and laid-back exploration. You’ll be gliding, climbing, and swimming through a magical woodland filled with adorable creatures and relaxing vibes.

I love games that encourage me to slow down and take in the world, and Smushi Come Home seems like the perfect adventure for cozy gamers who just want to wander and explore without stress. I can’t wait to dive into this one on a quiet afternoon!

3. Ooblets – Farming, Fashion, and Dance Battles

If you love farming sims but want a fresh, quirky twist, Ooblets is a must-play. This game is bursting with color, charm, and, most importantly—adorable little creatures called Ooblets!

Ooblets is a mix of farming, collecting, and Pokémon-style battles, but instead of fighting, your Ooblets have dance-offs. (Yes, it’s as delightful as it sounds.) You’ll be growing crops, decorating your home, and exploring new regions, all while building up your team of Ooblet companions.

There’s something about spring that makes me want to play games filled with bright colors and playful energy, and Ooblets fits the bill perfectly. I plan on spending a good chunk of time customizing my farm, dressing up my character in cute outfits, and, of course, winning some dance battles!

4. Littlewood – A Peaceful Life After the Adventure

Most games are about the big adventure—but what happens after the adventure is over? Littlewood explores this idea beautifully, letting you step into the shoes of a hero who has already saved the world. Now, it’s time to settle down, build a town, and enjoy the quiet life.

This game reminds me of Animal Crossing mixed with Stardew Valley—you’ll be gathering materials, crafting buildings, forming friendships, and designing your ideal village. What I love about Littlewood is that there’s no pressure or time limits—you can take everything at your own pace, making it the perfect cozy game to unwind with.

I recently discovered this one, and I think this spring is the perfect time to dive in and start shaping my own little town.

5. Garden Story – A Wholesome RPG with a Touch of Adventure

Spring is the season of growth, and Garden Story takes that idea to heart. You play as Concord, a tiny grape who has just been appointed Guardian of the Grove. Your job? Restore your village, help your neighbors, and defend against the mysterious Rot that threatens your home.

What makes Garden Story stand out is that it blends relaxing life sim mechanics with gentle RPG elements. There’s farming, fishing, and crafting, but also a light combat system that keeps things engaging. The world is so beautifully designed, with soft colors and charming characters (your friend’s are named Elderberry, Fuji, and Rana! I can’t even) that make it feel like stepping into a storybook.

I’m especially excited to start this game in the spring because of its focus on renewal and rebuilding. Plus, who wouldn’t want to play as an adorable little grape on a mission?

Final Thoughts

As the days get warmer and the flowers start to bloom, I can’t wait to cozy up with these five Switch games that perfectly capture the spirit of spring. Whether I’m baking in Lemon Cake, exploring forests in Smushi Come Home, or building a town in Littlewood, each of these games promises a delightful, relaxing experience.

If you’re looking for cozy, feel-good games to add to your spring playlist, I highly recommend giving these a try! What cozy games are you playing this season? Let me know—I’m always on the lookout for new favorites!
